Magnesium oxide (chemical formula: MgO) is a tasteless, non-toxic ionic compound. It occurs naturally as the mineral periclase and is widely produced by calcining magnesium carbonate or magnesium hydroxide.
It is insoluble in water and ethanol, but soluble in dilute acids and ammonium salt solutions. As a strong electrolyte, MgO conducts electricity well in its molten state by releasing Mg²+ and O²- ions, while it is an electrical insulator in solid form.
With high melting point, good thermal stability and alkaline properties, magnesium oxide is extensively used in refractory materials, rubber, plastics, environmental treatment, pharmaceuticals and food additives.

Main Applications of Magnesium oxide
1. Refractory materials: Used for furnace linings in metallurgy.
2. Rubber & plastics: As filler and activator.
3. Environmental protection: For flue gas desulfurization and wastewater treatment.
4. Pharmaceuticals & food: Antacid, laxative, pH regulator and magnesium supplement.
5. Construction: Raw material for magnesium oxychloride cement and fireproof boards.
6.Ceramics & glass: Used as high-temperature ceramic and glass additive.

STORAGE

Magnesium oxide is packed in bags of 25 kg, 50kg, and 1000kg (permissible variation ±0.2kg).  The storage is provided in dry warehouses.

The warehouse ensures sufficient goods, and a moisture-proof layer is installed below each stack to ensure the dryness and clean appearance of the goods.

Export grade fumigation tray, providing fumigation certificate; Different materials correspond to different customer needs, such as packaging tapes, wrapping films, heat shrink films, and UV resistant heat shrink films.
